Glossybox Convert?

So I decided to take the plunge and subscribe to Glossybox for a trial period of 3 months. I love the idea of receiving 5 surprise beauty related gifts a month - what's not to love! As a Makeup Artist it's important that I keep up to date with new products and trends, however it's time consuming walking around all the cosmetic counters checking and testing their latest products. And keeping ahead online is great, but I can't touch, smell, feel, work the products.  I certainly can't afford to buy them all, but it's important to test them on myself as well as in my kit.  That's why I'm testing Glossybox - 5 different new products that I can test and see if I like them or not.  Firstly the packaging is great so we're off to a good start!

The first thing my eye is attracted to is the Spectrum Fan brush ... so pretty.  It has gone straight into my kit and I'll be road testing it on my Bridal party tomorrow!

Spectrum Fan Brush which is vegan registered and cruelty free - I'm a fan already! (excuse the unintentional pun!)

The next thing out the box is the Papanga Spiral Hairbands.  My hair is already in a ponytail so I quickly whisk out my hairband and replace it with the clear hairband.  As I pulled my old hairband out, a few hairs came with it, so I'm hoping the Papanga Hairbands live up to their hype about not damaging or fraying my hair... watch this space....

"Perfect hold, fewer tangles, no split ends!"

I'll be testing these claims!

There's been quite a lot of talk about this new craze of heat baked products so I'm delighted to be able to try the new BellaPierre Banana Setting Powder.  There's lot of uses for it so I'm going to test it over the next few weeks and report back in my next blog.

Thanks for reading! Kim
